What happens to your data. (Not much.)

Last updated: 19 July 2026

Who I am

gabs-builds is the trading name of Gabriele Sinis, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For anything about this policy or your data, email hello@gabs-builds.com. My service address is available on request and appears on all invoices.

Cookies: none

This website sets no cookies. No analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, no consent banner to swat away. If that ever changes, this page will say so first, and I'd choose a cookieless tool before a cookie banner.

What I collect, and why

The only personal data I receive is what you choose to send me - if you email hello@gabs-builds.com, I'll have your email address, your name if you sign it, and whatever your message says. I use it for exactly one thing: replying to you and, if we work together, delivering that work and invoicing for it. The legal bases for this are your enquiry itself (steps toward a contract) and my legitimate interest in running the business.

I don't send newsletters, I don't add you to marketing lists, and I never sell or share your details for anyone else's purposes.

Who processes it on my behalf

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may briefly process technical data such as IP addresses in its server logs to keep the site secure and online. Email to hello@gabs-builds.com is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in Google Workspace/Gmail, where I read and reply to it. Both act as processors with their own published security and privacy commitments.

How long I keep things

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation is live and a reasonable period after, in case you come back. If you become a client, records connected to invoicing are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require. Beyond that, things get deleted rather than hoarded.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to my processing, or ask for a copy of it. Email hello@gabs-builds.com and I'll sort it - no forms, no fuss. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This page is written to be read, not to cover walls. If anything's unclear, ask - transparency is rather the point of this business.
